Privacy notice

Who we are

This website is operated by The Green District. For privacy questions, email support@thegreendistrict.co.

Information we collect

• Orders: your name, phone number, chosen items, customizations and notes.
• Delivery: your address or map pin, building details and delivery instructions.
• Accounts: your email, sign-in information and any contact details or addresses you choose to save.
• Support: messages you send us about your order or account.

Only share what we need to handle your order. Allergy notes and other sensitive details you include are visible to the team handling it.

How we use your information

We use your details to confirm and prepare your order, arrange delivery and provide support. If you create an account, we also use them for sign-in, saved details and order history.

Technical information about web requests and your connection helps us operate the website, fix errors and prevent misuse.

Location

We request your location only when you select “Use my current location.” You can instead choose a map pin or enter your address manually. We do not track your location continuously.

Address searches are sent to the map-search provider named beside the results. Keep names, phone numbers and private instructions in the checkout fields, not the search box.

Browser storage and receipts

Essential browser storage supports sign-in and checkout recovery. We save the items and quantities in your bag on your device for up to seven days. This saved bag does not include notes, contact details or addresses.

If checkout is interrupted, the order and contact details can remain in your current browser session so you can recover the same order. Clearing browser storage can remove these details and sign you out.

Anyone with your private receipt link can view the order until the link expires. Share it only with people you want to see those details.

Website analytics

We count actions such as opening checkout and measure page speed and responsiveness. These reports contain event names, counts, timings and a broad screen-size category. They exclude names, contact details, account and order IDs, typed content, page URLs and information identifying page elements.

Reports go to our website without account cookies or a referring page URL. They use no tracking cookie or lasting visitor ID. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these measurements. Our hosting provider still receives the technical information needed to process web requests.

Service providers

• Vercel hosts the website.
• Supabase handles sign-in and stores account and order information.
• Resend sends order-related email notifications.
• OpenStreetMap provides map images and receives connection details and the map area requested.
• FlagCDN provides country flags for the phone-number field.
• Upstash may store limited request identifiers and counters for abuse prevention.

Our team and delivery providers receive the details needed to handle your order. Opening a WhatsApp or Google Maps link shares the information in that link with the service, under its own privacy terms.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can order as a guest, update your contact details in Account, remove saved addresses and sign out. Location permissions are controlled in your browser.

For access, correction or deletion requests, email support@thegreendistrict.co. Include enough information to identify your account or order. Never send your password.

Green District Taste

Taste has a separate privacy notice. The two websites share account sign-in, so you can use the same email and password.
